Questions welcome
The beginner’s guide to getting started.
Here are practical answers to the questions we hear most often from new acoustic guitar players.
Do I need previous guitar experience?
No. The Foundations courses begin with instrument orientation, tuning, posture, and the first open chords.
What kind of guitar should I use?
A playable acoustic guitar with six strings is enough. Nylon-string and steel-string instruments can both support the early lessons.
How much should I practice?
Start with fifteen focused minutes several times a week. Consistency matters more than forcing long sessions.
Are lessons self-paced?
Yes. You can revisit lessons and repeat exercises while keeping the suggested sequence as a helpful guide.
Can I track courses I want to revisit?
Yes. Choose Track course in the catalog. Your selected IDs are stored locally in your browser and appear on the Fallows page.
How does the cart work?
Add a catalog item to the cart, adjust quantities on the Cart page, and review the total. The checkout confirmation is a demonstration because no server payment flow is connected.
Can I ask which course fits me?
Absolutely. Send your goals and current experience through the contact form and our team will suggest a sensible starting point.
Do I need special equipment?
You need a guitar, a tuner or tuning app, and a comfortable place to sit. A pick and metronome are useful but optional at first.
